Berivan Alothman is a media producer and visual content creator whose experience moves between television production, digital media, cinematic storytelling, and cultural event environments within multicultural artistic spaces.

She studied Television and Film Arts at Buffalo State University in New York, alongside academic studies in media and communications, developing a background focused on visual storytelling, media production, and contemporary audiovisual language.

Her professional experience includes work in video production, editing, media coordination, and digital content creation for television and cultural projects. She also worked across media communication and audience engagement within creative and artistic environments.

Alothman was part of the team behind the internationally renowned Tribeca Film Festival in New York, where she worked in festival operations, audience coordination, and guest experience, gaining direct exposure to international independent cinema and contemporary festival culture.

Her artistic interests focus on visual narrative, cinematic atmosphere, audience interaction, and the relationship between media language and contemporary storytelling within culturally diverse spaces.

As a member of the Narrative Films Selection Committee at the 5th edition of the Kobani International Film Festival 2024 — the Taha Karimi Edition, held under the theme “A Journey Through World Cultures” — Berivan Alothman represents a new generation of visual media practitioners shaped by the intersection of cinema, digital storytelling, and international cultural environments.
