Mihemed Bîlen is a Kurdish producer and media professional whose career brings together film and media production, content development, storytelling, research, and strategic analysis. He studied Cinema and Television at Istanbul Bilgi University, establishing an academic foundation for his work in visual media and production.

He has worked as a freelance content producer with media organizations including K24 and Rudaw, developing and producing broadcast and digital content while focusing particularly on cultural and social narratives and different forms of visual storytelling.

Alongside his media work, Bîlen has remained engaged with independent cinema, providing production support and creative consultancy for short film projects. His experience combines production knowledge, content development, and an understanding of how creative ideas are shaped into audiovisual projects.

He is also the founder of Neo Survey, through which he expanded his professional practice into research, data analysis, and strategic planning, combining analytical thinking with his creative background in media and storytelling.

This intersection of cinema, media, and research gives him a perspective that brings together narrative and visual language with an understanding of production, content development, and audience engagement.

At the 7th edition of the Kobani International Film Festival 2026, Mihemed Bîlen serves as a Selection Committee Member – Narrative Films Section, contributing his experience in production, content development, storytelling, and independent cinema.
