Synopsis:
A young boy sells Narcissus flowers by the roadside. Each time he sells the flowers, he experiences the same events, reflecting the repetitive nature of his daily life.
Award:
The film won the Best Film Award at the 3rd edition of the Kobani International Film Festival, dedicated to the Kurdish filmmaker Yılmaz Güney.
About the Director and Writer: Sarkot Nikdel
Sarkot Nikdel, born in 1996 in Hawraman, Iranian Kurdistan, is a Kurdish filmmaker and English teacher based in Marivan. He began his filmmaking career in 2010 and produced his first semi-professional short film Mother’s Smell in 2013. Since then, he has written and directed ten short films, including Songs of the Era, The Migration, and Fifth Narcissus.
