Syrian cinematographer, filmmaker, and visual artist based in Morocco.
Muhieddin Abdulaziz studied Audiovisual Arts with a specialization in cinematography at the Specialized Institute of Cinema Professions (ISMC) in Ouarzazate, Morocco. His work spans directing, cinematography, lighting design, editing, and visual media production.
Over the years, he has participated in numerous filmmaking and screenwriting workshops and worked across a wide range of short films, documentaries, music videos, and television productions as cinematographer, camera assistant, lighting assistant, editor, and director.
His experience includes collaborations with independent production companies and cultural organizations in Morocco, in addition to conducting cinematography workshops for film students and emerging filmmakers. He has also directed several short films and documentary projects focused on visual storytelling and social themes.
At the Kobani International Film Festival, Muhieddin Abdulaziz served as Head of the Selection Committee during the festival’s third edition in 2022, contributing to the evaluation and artistic selection process of the official program.
